Treasury of the Heart...
/Last month, I was honored to be asked to complete an art presentation for the Women Beyond Borders project. The project is called The Art of Building Community, and it features a small wooden box, decorated by an artist in whatever theme he or she desires.
I have to tell you, when I looked at the catalog of projects done already, I was intimidated by the pure, raw talent and power these women evoked with their messages!
As I decided what my theme would be, and started decorating my project, I got more and more interested in the process, and when I had a cold for a couple of days, it gave me the perfect excuse to stay in and finish the project off.
I’m very happy with the results, and proud to be included in this project with the thousands of artists who have or will work on a project that tears down walls and builds women up! I called it Treasury of the Heart, and it’s about the beautiful things, mementos, that women treasure and save up.
